AI receptionist · demo preview

Answers the calls you can't pick up.

When a system quits on a Sunday night the phone still rings, and the caller still needs to hear something. This page shows what an assistant would do with the calls nobody can get to: answer, take the job details, and send you the summary. It was put together as a preview for Swaby's Heating and Air in West Palm Beach, FL.

Only the business name, city, trade, phone number and address come from the company's own public information. The call shown below is a written simulation; the assistant at the bottom right is a working demo that runs in your browser.

What this would do for you

  • Picks up when you can't. Nights, weekends, busy stretches and the twenty minutes you're elbow-deep in a job — the call is answered instead of ringing out.
  • Takes the job details. What's wrong and where in the property, how urgent it sounds, the best number to call back, and when the caller wants someone there.
  • Sends you a summary. One short message with everything above, so you call back already knowing the job instead of starting from scratch.

What it doesn't do

  • It doesn't quote prices or promise an arrival time. That stays your call.
  • It doesn't replace how you take calls today — your phone, your voicemail, or the online booking widget that's already on your site. It sits alongside them and catches what they miss.
  • It doesn't pretend to be a person. It says up front that it's automated.

Missed call → booked job

The call nobody could take, start to finish. Below the transcript is the summary that would land on the owner's phone.

  1. AI receptionist

You've reached the after-hours assistant for Swaby's Heating and Air. I'm an automated assistant — the office is closed right now, but I can take the details and pass them on. What's happening with the system?

  2. Caller

The AC stopped cooling. It's blowing warm air and the house is up to 84.

  3. AI receptionist

Got it — no cooling, warm air from the vents. Is the outdoor unit running at all, or is it completely silent?

  4. Caller

The outside unit is running. It's just not cooling anything.

  5. AI receptionist

Thanks. One thing worth checking before anyone drives out: the air filter. A clogged filter is the usual reason a system runs but stops cooling, and it costs nothing to look at. Either way I'll flag this as urgent.

  6. Caller

Okay. Can someone come out tomorrow?

  7. AI receptionist

I can't commit to a time — that's the office's call, and I won't promise a slot they can't keep. I'll pass it on as a morning request. What's the best number to reach you on?

  8. Caller

    (561) 555-0142 — that's my cell.

  9. AI receptionist

Thanks. That's: no cooling, warm air from the vents, outdoor unit running, filter check advised, morning visit requested, best number (561) 555-0142. I'll send this summary through now.

This is a written simulation of one possible call, written to show how the assistant would handle it. It is not a record of a real call, and no real caller, number or job is shown. We have not seen this business's calls or call records.

Try the assistant yourself

The button in the bottom-right corner opens a real, working demo assistant — the same kind of thing the call above would run on. Ask it about jobs, hours, where the company works or how to get a callback. It's a small scripted demo, so it answers a fixed set of questions and says so when it doesn't know something.

  • Nothing is sent to Swaby's Heating and Air from this page — the demo runs entirely in your browser, with no phone number, email or account involved.
  • It won't confirm a booking or invent prices, hours or availability.
  • It opens with a few example questions, and you can type anything.

Questions the demo answers

  • What kind of jobs do you take?
  • What are your hours?
  • Where are you based?
  • Can you call me back?
  • How much do you charge?

Demo, not dispatch

The assistant on this page is a preview. It can't reach anyone, can't book anything and isn't connected to Swaby's Heating and Air. For anything real, call (561) 247-1468.

Why we built this for you

Two things we saw on the public site at swabysac.com on 13 October 2026, written plainly — no pitch, no guessing.

  • The footer still shows © 2021

That's the newest date published in the footer. The page has been up and working since then — it just hasn't been refreshed.

  • You already take bookings online

The site has a Book Now / Schedule an Appointment widget, and that's an asset. Alongside it we saw no chat or voice assistant, so a question typed at 9pm has nowhere to land.

Those are observations, not complaints — a booking widget that works is worth keeping. The gap we're pointing at is the one it doesn't cover: a visitor who wants to ask something in their own words, and a caller who rings outside working hours. Neither gets an answer today. If it's useful, we'd also rebuild the page itself — same content and the same booking widget, brought up to date — alongside the assistant. We haven't inspected your website traffic, your phone traffic or anything behind those public pages.

How it would be set up

None of this is switched on for you. It's a preview — the assistant you just tried exists on this page and nowhere else.

  1. 1

    Point it at your line

Your number stays exactly as it is. The assistant answers what you can't, and hands anything it isn't sure about to you.

  2. 2

    Give it the facts

Your service area, the jobs you take and the questions you're tired of answering on the phone. Everything else it leaves to you.

  3. 3

    Get the summary

Every captured call arrives as a short message with the problem, the urgency and the call-back number — before the caller's off the line.
